This course provides an insightful exploration of the Harm Reduction Model which can be used when supporting clients with Substance Use Disorders (SUDs). This training provides a summary of the content that was referenced in part 1 of the training around supporting clients with substance use disorders. This course introduces the harm reduction model, explores the role of stigma and empathy, and covers practical applications of the harm reduction model. The training explores the challenges and benefits of using the harm reduction model and compares this to the recovery model covered in part one.
