This presentation/course should particularly benefit those in the helping profession who are serving clients with a history of trauma.
It offers intermediate learners a different approach and level of insight to be trauma-informed but resilience/healing centered. It focuses on resiliency theory and how we can promote resilience in the clients we serve who have been exposed to multiple traumatic events.

1: At the conclusion of this training, participants should be able to define and identify traits of resilience in the clients they serve.
2: At the conclusion of this training, participants will be able to identify effective ways to harvest and encourage resilience in clients after exposure to Traumatic experiences.
3: At the conclusion of this seminar, participants will be able to help clients identify better coping strategies and develop better coping skills.
4: At the conclusion of this seminar, participants will be able to identify and address defense mechanisms that may arise during service provision.
