This engaging 1-hour training, "Revitalize and Thrive: Nurturing Self-Care for Mental Health Professionals," is specifically designed to empower mental health practitioners with the essential self-care tools they need to maintain personal and professional balance. Our course combines interactive learning, real-life examples, and practical exercises to equip you with the skills to overcome stress, prevent burnout, and enhance your overall well-being.
This course should particularly benefit social workers and other mental health professionals supporting clients who have been exposed to different individual, interpersonal, and community traumas. It will provide strategies for social workers and other mental health professionals to provide trauma-informed and culturally responsive support for clients. Receiving concrete support from helping professionals can assist those affected by trauma in positive and uplifting ways. By providing education and support, to social workers and other mental health professionals about their well-being and balance, then we can help clients heal and flourish beyond the experience.
This is an intermediate-level course and there are no specific prerequisites for this course. The course is open to social workers and other mental health professionals, students, and individuals interested in gaining knowledge and skills related to professional boundaries.
